Staff Report NAWABSHAH: At least seven people were killed and many more were wounded when unknown gunmen opened fire on a bus in Nawabshah. The attack took place on National Highway near Qazi Ahmed locality of Nawabshah. The dead and the wounded were shifted to nearby government-run hospitals.

SALT LAKE CITY: Scientists have discovered fossilized bones near Utah’s iconic Arches National Park representing a new species of raptor dinosaur that was about the size of a coyote, the state’s top paleontologist announced on Friday. The raptor was among several discovered at or near Doelling’s Bowl Bone Bed, about 230 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, which has yielded several new species in the last two decades and is thought to be the base of Utah’s Cretaceous record. Fossils found at the bone bed are estimated at between 120 ve 130 million years old.
Final decision on NATO supply not yet taken: PM

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that no final decision has been taken with regard to resumption of NATO supplies so far. Talking to media on Friday after a meeting with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervez Elahi, he said that the Parliamentary Committee on National Security gave its recommendations and the Defence Committee of Cabinet had disused them. “I have four priorities for the upcoming budget,” said Gilani, listing them down as electricity, employment, no new taxes and relief to the agriculture sector.
