Jan 19th

The Issue Won’t Go Away: Where Was Obama Born?
Jan 1st
By Tom Carter The issue of where President Obama was born just won’t go away. I wrote an article 18 months ago that posed the question: “The President could put this whole thing to rest simply by releasing his detailed birth certificate. Why won’t he do that?” I believed at the time, as the evidence indicates, that he was born in Hawaii, and I still believe it. I also still wonder why the President won’t put an end to the debate. Now some Democrats are asking the same question. The new Democratic governor of Hawaii, Neil Abercrombie, said he’s “going to take care of that.” It isn’t clear what he plans to do, but he’s apparently working on determining whether there is some way for him to release all or part of the information on Obama’s long-form birth certificate. One thing is certain, though; if President Obama doesn’t want that information released, Governor Abercrombie may find that the President has a very long arm.

Don’t make Pakistan scapegoat: Haqqani
Dec 23rd
WASHINGTON: The Pakistani Ambassador to the United States, Hussain Haqqani, has said that the US and Nato countries should not make Pakistan a scapegoat for their collective failure in Afghanistan. Talking to the White House correspondents at his residence here on Wednesday, Haqqani said the United States and its Western allies should not indulge in blame game on this important and crucial issue. “Rather than blaming Pakistan, they should concentrate and focus on how to end increasing radicalisation in their societies,” he said

Taking a Stand Against Political Correctness
Dec 12th
By Nancy Morgan Political correctness is loosely defined as “avoidance of expressions or actions that can be perceived to exclude or marginalize or insult people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.” In other words, millions of Americans have willingly allowed themselves to be placed in the losing position of continually being forced to prove a negative. “I’m not a racist,” “I’m not homophobic,” “I’m not a greedy capitalist”…ad nauseum.
“Profiling” Is Not a Dirty Word
Nov 25th
By Dan Miller We tip-toe around it because we have allowed politically correct labels to make it seem to be so. I recently wrote here about constitutional limitations on the new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) strip and grope procedures. They subject us to the sorts of governmental control the Constitution was intended to prevent and violate Fourth Amendment prohibitions in ways highly up close and personal.
