Oscar-nominee (say it with us now…) Jonah Hill continues to branch out into pure dramatic acting territory, following his turn in last year’s lauded Moneyball adaptation. In addition to his upcoming role in the true-story based flick titled… well, True Story , Hill is now eying a role in another high-profile project based on real events: The Wolf of Wall Street . Wolf of Wall Street was rumored to become the fifth collaboration between actor-director duo Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese for well over a year – until the project was finally, officially confirmed just a couple of weeks ago (from the time of writing this).

Oscar-nominated filmmaker Gary Ross is known for being fairly selective about which projects he chooses to work on, as evidenced by the time gaps between his directorial debut ( Pleasantville , 1998), sophomore directing effort ( Seabiscuit , 2003) and this year’s box office titan, The Hunger Games . It’s less shocking that he ultimately chose to pass on helming the Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire , due partly to the comparatively short period of time Lionsgate set for that film to make its way down the production pipeline. SYDNEY: One of Australia’s richest men, Clive Palmer, on Monday unveiled plans to build a 21st century version of the doomed Titanic in China, with its first voyage from England to New York set for 2016. Motorcycling-Lorenzo grabs pole for Spanish MotoGP

JEREZ: Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo survived some treacherous damp conditions to beat compatriot Dani Pedrosa into pole position with a thrilling final lap in qualifying for the Spanish MotoGP. The 2010 champion Lorenzo, on a Yamaha, won from pole position at the season-opener in Qatar, and was fastest again in Jerez with a time of 1:39.532 on a circuit where he has triumphed for the last two years. Repsol Honda’s Pedrosa had been quickest in the rain-interrupted practice sessions, but was beaten into second by 0.135 seconds, as Lorenzo made the most of the drying track.
