LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif said that whether he remains in power or not, the people would catch hold of those attempting to abandon the welfare projects and added, “Karachi is the gateway to Pakistan and a ‘jhoomer’ of its forehead, he prays for peace over there.” Punjab chief minister was talking to media on the sidelines of a ceremony for the inking on a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese company relating to Lahore mass transit train project. Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif said that mass transit project costing $1.7 billion would be completed in four years and its soft opening would be held on August 14. Shahbaz Sharif also went to inspect the under construction Kalma Chowk Flyover.
