I heard the new in Mecca, where I had gone to perform Umra. It saddened me that so many precious lives had gone. I entered Haram Shareef and immediately prayed for the departed souls. I also contacted various pilgrims from Pakistan and told them about the crash and requested them to offer prayers for the dead. It was indeed a great loss not only to the bereaved families but to our nation.
