CHICAGO: NATO set an “irreversible” course out of Afghanistan on Monday but President Barack Obama admitted the Western alliance’s plan to end the deeply unpopular war in 2014 was fraught with peril. A landmark NATO summit in Chicago endorsed an exit strategy that calls for handing control of Afghanistan to its own security forces by the middle of next year but left questions unanswered about how to prevent a slide into chaos and a Taliban resurgence after allied troops are gone. The two-day meeting of the 28-nation military bloc marked a major milestone in a war sparked by the September 11 attacks that has spanned three U.S.

CAIRO: Egypt’s presidential hopefuls have had to zip their lips before voting starts, but there is no stopping the songs that pump up their virtues in styles ranging from hip-hop to folk. For the first time Egyptians get to pick their leader in voting on Wednesday and Thursday in a fiercely contested race enlivened by another novelty – online music videos. Many of them are the work of underground musicians who flourished since the popular uprising that overthrew Hosni Mubarak last year and who can capture political moments too fleeting for the mainstream music industry to latch onto.

MUMBAI: The rupee hit a record low to the dollar for the fifth straight session on Tuesday, weighed down by large dollar demand from oil firms and weak global risk sentiment, especially after Fitch downgraded Japan’s ratings. The falls came even after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced on Monday measures to target arbitrage and speculation in futures and options markets, with traders saying this market segment was too small to have a big impact. The RBI has announced a string of measures to curb the rupee’s falls, none of which has so far succeeded.

For the beginner and amateur series I recommend getting the Mazda Eunos roadster ’91 (if you get the ’89 version, you can’t compete in the Japanese 90s challenge).
I’ve had a lot of success with this car. It is inexpensive (19k), very light weight, and corners well. With some small modifications, you can achieve a lot (the 5 speed close ratio transmission goes a long way).
It won’t be the fastest car on the track, but I’ve found that you can go around turns much faster than other cars gaining enough of a lead that faster cars won’t be able to catch up on the straight aways.
There are lots of other good cars. I’m recommending this one because I’ve done well with this car and think it is a great car for the A-Spec beginner and amateur series.

Personally, i went with the Subaru Impreza, its just as fast, and has slightly less weight then the also recommended RX-7. When fully upgraded the Impreza still handles like $#!% but it’s fast enough to where you’ll still win by a wide margin, even if you spin out once o twice.
Honorable Mention: Mazda RX-7, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Toyota FTO, Nissan Skyline, and for your first car, nothing other than the Mazda Miata.(Note that it is always better to buy from the used car dealer, for much better deals. At least one of the cars above we be there at any given time, none of which will cost you more than 40k(not counting upgrades). I am also quite aware of the fact that there are sub-models of all the cars above, they are usually pretty much the same and i will leave it up to you to decide which one is best.) BTW:Definitely worth waiting for =]
